A Moment of Wonder
Introducing a New Series
There are moments that change us—not because they are loud or dramatic, but because they quietly invite us to see the world differently.
Over the past several months, I've been painting a new series called A Moment of Wonder.
As many of you know, my heart has always been to create paintings that awaken curiosity, inspire imagination, and remind us that even in difficult seasons, there is still beauty waiting to be discovered.
These three paintings are perhaps the clearest expression of that purpose I've painted so far.
Each follows a tiny fairy encountering wonder in a different way. While the fairy is whimsical, she isn't really the subject of the paintings.
Wonder is.
She simply represents the childlike part of all of us that still longs to be surprised, to slow down, and to delight in the beauty surrounding us every day.
The collection unfolds like a journey.
Where Wonder Begins reminds us that wonder often starts with stillness. It begins the moment we choose to pause long enough to notice.
When Wonder Arrives celebrates those unexpected moments when beauty seems to find us—a butterfly landing nearby, sunlight dancing across a flower, or something ordinary suddenly becoming extraordinary.
And finally, Quiet Wonder is about what happens after we begin paying attention. Wonder is no longer an event. It becomes the way we experience the world.
The more I paint, the more convinced I become that wonder isn't rare.
It's everywhere.
Sometimes we simply forget to look.
My prayer is that these paintings become small invitations—to pause, breathe deeply, and remember that beauty, joy, hope, and peace still surround us, even on ordinary days.
